Inspired by the work of David Batchelor, I placed a box in different locations and recorded its journey.
Inspired by the work of Vera Lutter and Abelardo Morell, I created my own camera obscura and explored how cameras function.
To investigate composition I went around college and took photos of the architecture using compositional techniques.
Inspired by the work of Berenice Abbott, Hélène Binet and my artist research, I went around Manchester and Salford, taking photographs of architecture. Following this I created developments using my images.
In this project i researched the settings of a manual camera and experimented with different shutter speeds, stopping motion and capturing its direction.
For Street I researched the work of influential street photographers and went into Manchester to take photographs of its people.
In this project I used photographs, and photograms to analyse both objects and composition.
